Diethylstilbestrol (DES) Oral Liquid compounded for dogs is a nonsterodial estrogen derivative that is frequently used in estogen responsive urinary incontinence. It is an attractive option for treating urinary incontinence due to its infrequent administration and affordability. DES is currently the most commonly used drug for acquired urinary incontinence in spayed female dogs and has been reported to lead to continence in 60% to 80% of treated dogs.
