Aminophylline injection for dogs and cats are primarily prescribed for their bronchodilatory effects, often in pets with myocardial failure and or pulmonary edema.

Pronunciation – (am-in-off-i-lin)

Each mL contains aminophylline (calcuated as the dihydrate) 25mg (equivalent to 19.7 mg/mL of anhydrous theophylline). May contain an excess of ethylenediamine for pH adjustment. pH 8.8 (8.6 to 9.0). Sterile. nonpyrogenic. Discard unused portion.
